FAQ
What is the difference between a pentagram and a pentacle?
A pentagram is a five-pointed star drawn with a continuous line. It has a lot of meanings across different cultures and traditions. In Wicca and some other Pagan practices, the pentagram represents earth, air, water, fire, and spirit. Each point symbolizes one of those elements.

A pentacle is a pentagram enclosed within a circle. While a pentagram is a star itself, a pentacle is surrounded with a circle. The circle is seen as a symbol of protection or unity. It can also represent a cycle of life. In many Wiccan traditions, the pentacle is used as a ritual piece and represents protection, spirituality, and connecting your energy to the elements. It’s often used on altars for various purposes. It helps invoke energies and in casting spells.

Both symbols hold significance in various practices, but depending on the context and tradition, they can have slightly different meanings.
